NYCFC suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday night, falling to a frustrating reverse at Yankee Stadium.

After taking the lead through Alonso Martínez in the 4th minute, NYCFC fell 4-2 to the Columbus Crew on Saturday night in Ohio.

NYCFC exited the Leagues Cup on Saturday night. Columbus Crew emerged winners of a penalty shootout by 4-3 after the quarter final ended in a 1-1 tie.

NYCFC has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Leagues Cup after beating Tigres, surpassing their performance from last year where they reached the Round of 32.

Following a 0-0 draw, a penalty shootout resulted in a 4-3 win for NYCFC. Barraza’s brilliant diving save to his left confirmed the extra point for the hosts. 

NYCFC came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 tie against Atlanta United Wednesday night. Mounsef Bakrar and Talles Magno (pen) scored for City.

NYCFC clinched a draw on the road against the Chicago Fire. Both teams battled to find a breakthrough and despite coming close neither side was able to do so. 

NYCFC took an early lead in Texas on Saturday night through Andrés Perea. Austin hit back with two goals from striker Gyasi Zardes to clinch the win.

NYCFC completed back-to-tack wins with a 2-0 victory over CF Montreal. Costa Rican forward Alonso Martínez scored in each half at Citi Field.

NYCFC returned to winning ways in the Bronx Friday with a convincing 4-2 victory over Orlando City. City scored 3 goals in the first half, the most in any game.
