NJ/NY Gotham FC lost the Challenge Cup 1-0 to San Diego Wave thanks to a late header by forward Alex Morgan in front of 14,241 fans at Red Bull Arena.

The USWNT won the inaugural Women’s CONCACAF Gold Cup, beating Brazil 1-0 in front of 31,528 fans in San Diego. Captain Lindsey Horan scored the winning goal.
